Students excitedly filed into the Welcoming Room and sat by whichever wall featured their house symbol. As usual, the room was clean and brightly lit by shining balls of light in a various array of colours. Everyone was excited to greet the newest arrivals with open arms. Headmaster Bluewood stood in the centre of the room.
"Welcome to a new year at Zaurberie's! It's wonderful to see you all again, I trust everyone had a good holiday. Now it's time to say hello to our newest students. Let the sorting begin!"
Headmistress Peacemane opened the big wooden doors to let the new students in.
